Tsavo East National Park is one of the oldest parks in Kenya, located South East of Kenya near the Town of Voi in the Taita-Taveta District of Coast Province, inland from the Coast, it is 13,747 sq. km. The slightly larger Tsavo East is generally flat, with dry plains across which the Galana River flows. Other features include Yatta Plateau and Lugard Falls.
<p>Arrival </p><p>A transfer from the airport (or hotel) can be arranged for an extra cost.</p><p>Depart Mombasa early morning and head to Tsavo National Park. It’s advisable to carry packed breakfast as you are picked up at 5:30 Am. You will have an opportunity to watch the sunrise on your drive. Arrive Tsavo Gate and after a brief stop begin your game viewing drive. The park has its popularity mostly due to the vast amounts of diverse wildlife that can be seen, including the famous 'big five' consisting of lion, black rhino, cape buffalo, elephant and leopard. The park is also home to a great variety of bird life. You will take amazing photos of the wildlife and plains.</p><p></p><p>Drive to a Park hotel for lunch and swimming after an exciting morning safari. Mid afternoon continue with the game drive as you head out of the park and to Mombasa.
