Than our 3 night safari starting from Mombasa and visiting Tsavo East, Tsavo West and Amboseli is ideal for you. On this four day journey, you will visit Tsavo renowned for its large number of elephants and lions, before game tracking on the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro at the Amboseli National Park. On the final day you will return to Mombasa to conclude your unforgettable adventure.
<p>You'll be collected from the airport (or hotel).</p><p>Accommodation before the tour starts can be arranged for an extra cost.</p><p>After breakfast leave your beach hotel in Mombasa and drive to Tsavo National Park (310-360 km depending on which beach hotel you're staying in). Lunch is followed by an afternoon game drive which usually includes a visit to Mzima Springs, famed for its hippos and crocodiles.</p><p></p><p>From the sight of fifty million gallons of crystal clear water gushing out of from the under parched lava rock that is the Mzima Springs to the Shetani lava flows, Tsavo West is a beautiful, rugged wilderness. The savannah ecosystem comprises of open grasslands, scrublands, and Acacia woodlands, belts of riverine vegetation and rocky ridges including the Poacher's Lookout where visitors can see the teeming herds in the plains below. <p>After an early breakfast drive the 220 km to Amboseli. Lunch is followed by an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Serena Lodge.</p><p></p><p>Amboseli National Park is in southern Kenya. It’s known for its large elephant herds and views of immense Mount Kilimanjaro, across the border in Tanzania. Observation Hill offers panoramas of the peak and the park’s plains and swamps. Varied wildlife includes giraffes, zebras, cheetahs and hundreds of bird species. <p>After an early morning game drive and breakfast, drive to Tsavo East National Park. Lunch at Ashnil Aruba Lodge followed by an afternoon game drive.</p><p></p><p>The sight of dust-red elephant wallowing, rolling and spraying each other with the midnight blue waters of palm-shaded Galana River is one of the most evocative images in Africa. This, along with the 300 kilomtere long Yatta Plateau, the longest lava flow in the world, make for an adventure unlike any other in the Tsavo East.
